About Find out more about these sessions... About Tungum Tubing is a brass alloy instrumentation size tube, manufactured by Tungum Ltd, which has been used for high quality safety critical applications for over 75 years. This brass alloy tubing possesses a natural protection mechanism whereby, on exposure to salt spray, a very thin oxide coating is generated over the exposed surface, no more than two thousandths of an inch thick. Under the oxide layer the tube material is perfect and will remain so for a very long time. Tungum has been in use offshore since 1978, and industry awareness of its superiority for use in marine environments is increasingly evident. To help better understand Tungum and where it can be used we offer Tungum T-Talk sessions. These can be done at anytime of day including lunch times and typically last approx. 1 hour. During that time we talk in detail about the material strengths and its many applications in the industry. Typical format of the talk is 5 minutes of introductions, 40 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A. These sessions are a very efficient way for all your technical and engineering staff to learn about Tungum as well as some of the other materials used in instrumentation tube applications. Special emphasis is given to tube corrosion issues and solutions. Testimonials Read the feedback from our clients about our talks...
